Outdoor Family Sessions

Serving the DFW area in photography for the past decade, I specialize in natural light outdoor photography. With the exception of Newborn sessions, Family, Maternity, and Milestone Sessions are taken at one of the many beautiful locations that I have scouted out. Once you have booked your session, we will spend time and talk about what you want out of your session. As your photographer, I like the opportunity to get to know you and discover things that are important to you and your family.

Maternity

Starting: $150

Whether you are 8 weeks along, or 8 months along, maternity sessions are a wonderful way of capturing your "first" in this next chapter. We will capture the beauty and simplicity of being a mama to be.

Family

Starting: $175.00

This is where your life's chapter's start to unfold. Year after year, capturing the moments that you and I know pass by us all too quickly. It's the in between moments I will capture for you.

Newborn + Baby

Starting: $250.00

Babies are only babies for such a short time. From that sweet little hand wrapped around your finger, to the gentle kiss you place on your babies forehead, I will capture all the pure sweet little moments of your new family.

Milestone

Starting: $150.00

My Favorite kind of sessions are Milestone Sessions. From turning ONE to graduating high school, recently engaged, or just because. Milestone sessions are a quick and fun way to capture part of your story and I would love to capture it all for you.

How many pictures will we receive for the session?

Newborn sessions receive 25-45 images depending on the package
Family Sessions receive 20 images
Milestone and Maternity Sessions receive 15 images

How should we dress for our family session?

Feel free to reach out to your photographer, who can assist with current trends of the season, and guide you through what colors compliment each other.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

The best time to have a newborn session is when your baby is 4-10 days new. I have done newborns up to 6 weeks under special circumstance, but the best time is during the first 2 weeks

What happens if weather messes up our scheduled outdoor session?

We simply reschedule your session on another date. As your photographer, I will work with you on a time and date that best fits your busy schedule.

What is the turnaround time on receiving my images?

The turnaround time on receiving your images is approximately 2 weeks during normal season. During Peak Season (September-December) turnaround time is 3 weeks.

How will I receive my images?

Your images will be sent to you in high resolution on a password protected gallery via your email. A copy right release is included in your package, so you are free to download the images and print as many as you wish, turn into canvas, print enlargement's and share with family and friends on social media.

Is a Deposit required to Hold my session?

The answer to this is No. As a busy mom, and someone who does this during select months of the year, I first hand know how unexpectedly things can come up. Whether it's a sick child, bad weather, a child's sporting event that was added to the schedule at the last minute, or just life in general. I believe in the loyalty of my clients and 98% of my clients are repeat clients. While I do schedule you for a time slot, if you are unable to fulfill your time slot, I simply ask that you reach out to me at least 48 hours before your scheduled session, so that I have a chance to rebook your slot I was saving for you.

What if I want to pay for more images?

By all means, I will never tell you no to more images. If you are wanting to increase your package, that is something we can discuss during your session no problem.

Can I see the Raw Images before you edit, or can I pick out my own favorites?

Unfortunately, as your photographer, a lot of time and patience, and skill goes into sorting out the best of the best before presenting the edited and enhanced images to my clients. Anyone can take a photo. I am happy to share a sneak peak straight out of my camera to you during our session if I captured something adorably unexpected, but as your photographer, you are trusting me completely with your session, and I assure you I will include the best of the best in your final images when they are presented to you.

Do you photograph large families?

Absolutely! Large Families typically are a custom session package that we can discuss upon booking.

Do you offer Gift Cards?

Yes of course!! I am happy to provide you with a Gift Card. Gift cards never expire, and they make the most perfect unique gifts for Christmas, birthday, or Mother's Day.

How do you pay for a session?

All sessions are paid day of typically right after your session with me, or right before. I accept cash, check or Zelle.

I don't feel very confident in front of the camera, will that be okay?

I know how much goes into a photo session, from coordinating outfits, making sure the husband is in a good mood for photos, the kids are well behaved, and meltdown free, and the day turning out to be the perfect day you had in your mind for family pictures. With all that, the first thing on your mind, is going to be, I hope I look good for the pictures. Trust me, you will. 50 years from now, pictures of you, are all your kids are going to want, because that is all that they will have left. Documenting your annual family photos is leaving your kids a legacy of you year after year. In the end, it won't matter to them how you looked at that moment in time. They will just want pictures of you.

How long are the sessions?

Family, Milestone, and Maternity Sessions will run 45 minutes to an hour.
Newborn Sessions will run approx 3 hours

What all is included in a newborn session?

As your newborn photographer, I come to you with my traveling studio. The session will take approximately 3 hours, as we will take the time to sooth, change, and feed as needed. I provide all props in the newborn session, which include backdrops, lighting, buckets, baskets, wraps, furs, blankets, hats, and bows. If you have a sentimental item that you wish to incorporate into the session by all means, I will include it into the session for you.

Can you remove this pimple that just popped up the day before our session?

Absolutely! All images will come enhanced, and edited and sent to you in high resolution. All fly aways will be tamed, eyes brightened, and skin flawless, without changing any of your natural beauty. As you can see my photo style is bright and airy, with a hint of rich deep undertones.
