There's nothing quite like looking through an old family album to take you back in time. Whether it is to reminisce the memories of a beloved family member you sorely miss, or to take you down picture lane, and seeing all the images of your own children, and how fast they grow in a blink of an eye. As we know, Life does goes by fast. We get caught up in the every day shuffle, but one thing that always remains still and frozen in time, is a photograph.

How Shutter-Bugs By Blair came to be


 As a child, I was constantly getting into my grandmother's photo albums and re living my Grandparent's glory days through old photos, and mementoes my grandmother kept over the years. She had so many stories to tell, all through old photographs. As a young adult, I started enjoying being behind the camera and documenting all my college experiences and creating my own photo albums and scrapbooks. Now, as a mom, and realizing how fast kid's grow, I decided to make it my lifelong goal to capture every little moment behind the camera. I am a self-taught natural light photographer, who specializes in newborns, babies, children and families. Photography has always been a passion of mine, that I pour my heart and soul into. It is a way I express myself and allows for me to have a creative outlet. Not to mention, the client's that choose me as their photographer, are an absolute dream to work with. I am incredibly blessed to cement my working client relationships into real authentic friendships, and I am honored that you continue to allow me into your lives where I get to capture your beautiful families year after year. My goal is to capture the moment that my clients are in. I will always strive to present beautiful images that you will want to hang on your walls and share with others. Every time you see your photos, I hope it will always take you back to that special moment in time. A time when you were graduating high school, a time when you got engaged. A time when you were expecting a baby or holding your precious baby in your arms. A time when you were chasing your toddler around or posing for that perfect family shot. We all go through so many incredible and exciting moments in life, let me help you capture those moments.


Born and raised in Texas, I grew up all around Dallas. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, where I studied Photo Journalism. I currently live in Wylie with my husband and we are a blended and blessed family of 6. My crew keeps me on my toes and provides me plenty of smiles, laughter and photo opportunities. In addition to my family and photography, some of my other loves are my Beagle named Lucy, traveling, reading, decorating, crafting, and home projects.

Our kids grow up so fast. Don't let these memories slip away. Your mind can get blurry with time. Yet your photos will always be there, carrying your most precious life moments.

Maternity


Whether you are 8 weeks along, or 8 months along, maternity sessions are a wonderful way of capturing your "first" in this next chapter. We will capture the beauty and simplicity of being a mama to be.

Family


This is where your life's chapter's start to unfold. Year after year, capturing the moments that you and I know pass by us all too quickly. The matching coordinating family outfits, the annual Christmas card, the moment you pray your hair cooperates in this Texas weather, and that your sweet kiddos are all smiles, and no tears for your family session. It's the in between moments I will capture for you. When your child looks up at you excitedly, or your husband wraps his arms around you in a sweet cuddly moment. The candid laugh between a mother and daughter, or when dad picks up his son in the air, and you see the pure joy across his proud face.

Newborn+Baby


Babies are only babies for such a short time. Newborn sessions are my creative outlet and where I really got my start. From that sweet little hand wrapped around your finger, to the gentle kiss you place on your babies forehead to the adorable little nugget placed in a bucket with a froggy hat on, I will capture all the pure sweet little moments of your new family.

Milestone


My Favorite kind of sessions are Milestone Sessions. From turning ONE to turning sweet 16, graduating high school, recently engaged, or just because you wanted some fun and quirky updated photos to document an important moment in your life, Milestone sessions are a quick and fun way to capture part of your story and I would love to capture it all for you.
